TANIA HANNAH

LUPUS ADVOCATE & CINEMATIC ELECTRONIC COMPOSER

Bundamba, Ipswich • DiViNiUM

About Tania

Tania Hannah is a Queensland-based composer living with Lupus,

Fibromyalgia and Sjögren’s Syndrome:

complex autoimmune conditions that cause daily pain attacks,

paralysis episodes, neurological flares, and overwhelming fatigue.

Unable to perform on stage, she discovered a new path:

composing music during the very moments her body tries to shut down.

Her work transforms fear, pain and sensory overwhelm

into ethereal electronic soundscapes and cinematic emotional pieces.

With more than 500 original compositions, Tania is one of Australia’s

most prolific disabled electronic composers.

Creative Practice

Through her duo DiViNiUM, created with designer-musician

and partner Peter Carman, Tania blends immersive music with

atmospheric visual storytelling. Their work expresses vulnerability,

resilience, and the human experience of living inside an unpredictable body.

Advocacy Focus

Tania’s voice arises from lived experience. Her advocacy aims to:

  •
  • raise awareness of Lupus and invisible illness

  •

Goals as an Advocate

  •
  •
  • collaborate with Lupus Australia and chronic illness organisations
  •
  • appear in media to share her story
  •
  • contribute to awareness campaigns
  •
  • speak publicly online or in-person (when health allows)

TANIA HANNAH

AKA MiSDiViNE

Composer, Pianist, Vocalist, Keyboards, Flute, Bass, Guitarist & Producer
Tania is a Brisbane based artist composing, performing and producing original music across a range of musical genres : Cinematic, Folk, Ambient, Alternative, Electronica and journeying into fusion's of these genres

Her music is eclectic and very melody based, not sitting in a specific genre as she lets inspiration take control. Being a multi-instrumentalist and also a vocalist, Tania also enjoys her time in the studio, recording and in the production zone

Her background in music is quite extensive, having played in many different ensembles and musical groups across a range of styles and genres. Composing is her favourite pastime, having a background in musical theory: from classical and renaissance all the way through to Jazz and Contemporary music

Tania's passion for music has always driven her to hone her craft and improve her musicality, studying Jazz flute and piano, as well as Composition and Performance at The Northern Rivers Conservatorium of Performing Arts [NSW] in 1999/2000

Creating music within DiViNiUM has been life changing!! Electronic music was a totally new genre, and once she had delved into this digital world of music production and creation, it generated an evolution within her own song writing

Her professional career as MiSDiViNE took a dramatic turn, with some signifigant health issues taking her from the stage into the studio zone full-time.  Seeming to have found her niche, she explores and combines her past cinematic influences with her new electronic inspiration into a totally new genre, one that she iMMERSES herself into with absolute joy

No matter the adversity, Tania maintains that she never lost sight of her dream : to become one of Australia's top female Composers and to represent the Australian Music Industry and shine a light on her combined creative endeavours and her greatest love : her passion for composition and her love of music. She now has that opportunity within DiViNiUM, and within the creation of iMMERSiVE Musical experiences. Always believe in your dreams, and live for today!!!
